After getting a much needed good night's sleep we headed out this morning to visit La Boca, the oldest part of the city along the old port. The homes here were originally built using the jettisoned packing materials of goods taken off ships, and using any leftover paint used on the ships. The variety of brightly colored paint is what gives this neighborhood it's distinctive charm.
We walked along streets with street vendors and little shops.
We stopped for pizza which is done differently in Buenos Aires, a thicker crust and lots of cheese.
And some shopping was done.
I'm sure you are all anxious to hear that Steph's luggage arrived. It was waiting for us when we returned to the hotel this afternoon.
