We arrived in Buenos Aires this morning after about a 10 hour overnight flight from Dallas/Ft Worth. We had the dreaded experience for those who check luggage of watching and watching for your bag until they shut down the conveyor belt. So off to the lost baggage line and after a bit of a wait we were told that one of our bags never left San Diego. No explanation why but it will arrive late tonight and be delivered in the morning.
It is overcast, occasional rain, and in the mid 60's here today. Buenos Aires is about the same latitude as Los Angeles and the average high this time of year is closer to 80, the predicted high the day we leave.
We are staying in a lovely hotel.
After resting this morning we went to lunch and some city touring with our guide. He took us to a great little local restaurant that specializes in empanadas and stews from the northern part of Argentina. The house wine comes in a penguin as you can see in this picture with our guide Juan.
